The purpose is to improve the water environment, including water quality and aquatic ecology restoration, at Jamsil Reservoir, designated as a key management reservoir located near the city center. This will be achieved through non-point source pollution reduction and environmentally friendly management practices. The ultimate goal is to create ecological spaces within the urban area, enhance waterfront areas for residents, and promote the region as a local attraction.
