The city of Seongnam is a region where interconnectivity with other areas is crucial, especially regarding public transportation connectivity. As the city continues to grow, with developments like the Godeung Zone, Daejang Zone, Wiryeseong New Town, Pangyo New Town, Pangyo 2nd Techno Valley, and downtown urban redevelopment projects, the urban conditions are rapidly evolving. Therefore, in response to these external and internal changes in the public transportation environment of Seongnam, a comprehensive and systematic public transportation plan, known as the 3rd Regional Public Transportation Plan, has been established.
