There is a plan for the development of an eco-friendly integrated theme park in Incheon and the metropolitan area located near Incheon International Airport and Gimpo International Airport. Due to the expected increase in traffic demand from the theme park development, traffic congestion on the surrounding regional road networks and congestion in the metropolitan transportation system are anticipated. To minimize the impact on the surrounding areas and the metropolitan transportation system, a comprehensive transportation improvement plan has been established.
