This project involves the construction of a double-track railway for the West Sea Line, connecting Hongseong to Songseong. It is aimed at addressing the railway line's capacity shortage due to a significant increase in freight traffic and reducing travel times. Detailed preliminary and supplementary design work for infrastructure and other related construction for the third phase of this project has been carried out.
