This project was commissioned by the Uzbekistan government, at the request of which the South Korean government, under the leadership of the Korea Export-Import Bank's Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF), provided financial support. The project involves the establishment of a children's hospital in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Designed as a children's hospital, the building with seven distinct stories houses five medical departments with a total of 305 beds for in-patients and critically ill patients. To create a more familiar and comfortable hospital environment for pediatric patients, a skylight is installed in the main lobby to maximize warm and cozy natural lighting. Additionally, relaxation spaces such as lounge areas inside and an outdoor rooftop garden with a greenhouse are maximized to create a pleasant recovery environment. A clear circulation plan separates the pathways for patients, medical staff, and service areas, ensuring efficient navigation for patients. The hospital space is designed to provide convenience and comfort for patients.
