An environmental impact assessment was conducted for the construction of a railway line from Donghae Line (Pohang Junction) to Yeongil Bay New Port. This project aims to ensure efficient and smooth transportation of export and import cargo volumes to and from Yeongil Bay New Port and its hinterland industrial complex, which is being developed in conjunction with the opening of Yeongil Bay New Port.
