The 4-story student welfare center located on the first campus of Gimpo University is designed to take advantage of the favorable view of Mount Munsu to the north and the Han River estuary to the west, adjacent to Gimpo City. The building utilizes contrasting materials across the overall mass to emphasize the architectural design with a horizontal facade. The contrast between the transparent curtain wall at the top and the brick at the bottom harmonizes with the predominant material of the surrounding buildings, providing ample visibility of the natural surroundings, including Mount Munsu and the Han River estuary, for the users. Furthermore, the transparent curtain wall at the top ensures ample natural light, enhancing user convenience.
