The Seunggi Public Sewage Treatment Facility renovation (modernization) project is being pursued to improve the quality of life for local residents by addressing issues such as exceeding water quality standards and unpleasant odors from the aging public sewage treatment facility. Additionally, the area above the underground facility will be converted into a park to secure urban green space and improve the image of the facility, which is often considered undesirable.
