This project involves the construction of a large-scale floating solar power generation facility utilizing the shared water surface within the Saemangeum Barrage. In order to achieve carbon neutrality and promote green growth, a solar power generation site has been established in the Saemangeum region, contributing to the national renewable energy policy. The project aims to facilitate the rapid progress of Saemangeum development projects and utilize idle land through revenue generated from power generation. This project is the largest floating solar power project in both domestic and international contexts. To achieve this, plans for 345kV grid interconnection facilities and transmission facilities were developed. SunjinEngineering oversaw the entire process from the planning stage to the detailed design stage, including floating solar power system design, substation design, and relevant permitting processes.
