An environmental impact assessment was conducted in accordance with the "Renewable Energy 3020 Implementation Plan" to temporarily install environmentally friendly floating solar power generation facilities on the inner surface of the Saemangeum Tidal Embankment.

The purpose of this project is to align with the government's policies on alternative energy development and the promotion of floating solar power in order to contribute to regional economic development and greenhouse gas reduction efforts.
