Scale Length: 28.84km
An environmental impact assessment is currently underway for a project that involves the construction of a new 28.84 km four-lane highway, connecting Chungcheongbuk-do Jecheon-si Geumsung-myeon (Central Expressway Jecheon JCT) as the starting point and Gangwon-do Yeongwol-gun Yeongwol-eup (National Road 88) as the endpoint.
The primary purpose of this project is to establish a national arterial road network corresponding to the east-west 6-axis, thereby dispersing the traffic volume of the Yeongdong Line and alleviating the transportation inconvenience of local residents. Additionally, the project aims to enhance connectivity with local industrial activities and logistics centers, contributing to regional economic growth and national balanced development.
