In accordance with the "Guidelines for Developing River Basin Sewerage Plans" by the Ministry of Environment (November 2014), a plan was formulated for 12 cities and counties covering a total area of 3,629.78 square kilometers. The plan is based on a population projection for the year 2035, with a planned population of 882,501 people and a target population served by the sewage system of 746,178 people, achieving a coverage rate of 84.6%. The plan includes conducting flow and water quality surveys at 30 locations and developing effective measures to reduce pollution loads from domestic sources, aiming to achieve water quality standards in public water bodies and improve the living environment.
