The Sewerage Maintenance Master Plan is a comprehensive plan established under Article 4 of the Sewerage Act and Article 6 of its Enforcement Decree. Its purpose is to establish a comprehensive plan for sewerage maintenance, aiming to install and manage general and industrial water supply systems appropriately and reasonably. The plan is developed using scientific methods and aims to establish long-term plans for the maintenance, expansion, and improvement of water supply facilities. It also focuses on improving the quality of tap water and the sophistication and efficiency of water supply facilities, as well as enhancing management practices and productivity.

Technical diagnostics of water supply facilities are conducted in accordance with Article 74 of the Sewerage Act and Articles 27, 28, and 29 of its Enforcement Rules. This includes conducting technical diagnostics of water supply facilities throughout Namhae County (including Asan, Bongsung, Naneum, Nammyeon, Daegok, Sangju, Sunwon, Jijok, Changseon, Hangdo, Nogu Water Treatment Plants, and the water supply network). Based on the diagnostic results, improvement plans for the facilities are formulated, along with plans for efficient operation and management, aiming to supply stable and clean water and ensure optimal operation and management practices.
