The purpose of this project is to comprehensively assess the capacity of existing rainwater pumping stations in response to the frequent occurrence of sudden and concentrated heavy rainfall events due to recent weather anomalies. This includes evaluating the safety of related facilities and identifying improvements. The goal is to efficiently and economically expand the rainwater pumping stations, enhancing Seoul's drainage capacity to prepare for 30 years of heavy rainfall intensity. This will help prevent flooding in low-lying areas, ensuring the protection of the lives and property of citizens, and prioritizing their safety and well-being.
