The aim is to address the influx of unknown water into five sewage treatment areas in Sapyeong-myeon due to aging pipelines or classification issues, making sewage treatment plant operation difficult due to low concentrations. Additionally, improvements will be made to facilities in seven rural village sewage treatment plants and aging sewer pipelines where operation and management are challenging due to severe aging, to comply with legal effluent water quality standards.
