In response to the continuous development of tourist attractions and the increasing number of tourists in the Woljeong treatment area, there has been a significant rise in sewage generation. To address this issue, plans were developed to increase the treatment facility capacity to 12,000 m³/day by 2035 and establish new sewage interceptors with a total length of 15.1 km. These measures are aimed at coping with the overload of treatment capacity, ensuring stable sewage treatment, and contributing to improved public hygiene and water quality protection.
