To address various wastewater generated in the existing Heungyeop area and the newly developed Namwonju Transit-oriented Development (TOD) and Wonju Musil Business-type Rental Housing, a comprehensive plan was devised. This plan involved collecting the wastewater and increasing the capacity of the existing Heungyeop Public Sewage Treatment Plant from 6,500㎥/day to 13,000㎥/day. The treatment was carried out using the TBCR-II method to ensure compliance with legal effluent water quality standards. This initiative aimed to improve water quality in the discharge area and enhance public health and hygiene for local residents.
