The objective is to address the aging and poor maintenance of wastewater pipelines, high inflow of non-domestic wastewater, increased wastewater from the construction of the 1st Army Division apartment complex, military facilities, and the Sanjeong Lake, which has led to insufficient capacity at the Yeongbuk public sewage treatment facility. Therefore, through the current wastewater pipeline classification project and the expansion of the Yeongbuk public sewage treatment facility, the goal is to prevent the inflow of non-domestic wastewater within the Yeongbuk treatment area, improve the quality of incoming wastewater, and enhance the water quality in the discharge area.
