This project involves the planning of a memorial park within the Incheon Citizens Hall. Surrounded by Manwolsan and Gwangaksan, this park aims to operate as a green community space that harmonizes not only with funeral facilities but also with its surroundings. The spatial design focuses on separating functions and connecting pathways to create a harmonious and nature-friendly memorial park. The main memorial hall, Bonghwadang, is composed of three floors with an area of 5,573 square meters. The main lounge area allows natural light through skylights, creating a cozy and solemn atmosphere for funeral gatherings. The repeated design patterns on the limestone façade represent cup markings, similar to those found on dolmens, symbolizing hopes from ancient times.
