The objective of this project is to address the continuous road curvature and steep longitudinal gradient in the Suwon Mountain section of National Route 56, which is a mountainous road prone to frequent traffic accidents and complaints due to poor road conditions, especially during the winter season when snowfall leads to traffic restrictions. The project aims to enhance traffic safety and promote local economic development through infrastructure improvements.

Among the National Map No. 56, Suwonsan section between Jikdu-ri, Gunnae-myeon, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, and Sinpal-ri, Naechon-myeon, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, is a mountainous road with continuous curves and poor alignment due to sharp longitudinal slopes, and road facilities improvement is urgent due to frequent traffic accidents and winter snow restrictions. 1) It is urgent to eliminate the risk of traffic accidents, revitalize the local economy, and promote balanced national development
