Due to the growing concern over road sinkholes as a significant social issue, citizens' anxiety when using roads has increased. To address this issue, a sewage pipeline maintenance project was initiated in specific areas, including parts of Seongnam City in the Sujeong, Jungwon, and Bundang districts. The project aimed to prevent sinkhole occurrences by refurbishing and repairing old and defective sewage pipelines, totaling 28.9 kilometers in length.
