Due to the continuous increase in the population, there was a shortage of treatment facility capacity. To address this, the BCS (Biological Contact System) + (Biological Filtration) method was introduced, and a new sewage treatment facility (Q=3,000 m³/day) was established. Additionally, improvements and new installations were made to the sewage interceptors and sewage pipelines (total length: 21.7 km) in the Bugang and Yeondong areas to collect various types of wastewater, aiming to improve water quality in the discharge area.
