An environmental impact assessment is currently underway for the urban development project located south of Yeoju Station on the Gyeonggang Line.
The primary objective of this project is to address the increasing development pressure in the area due to various urban development projects being pursued (such as the Yeoju Station Area) or already completed (Gyodong District, Gyodong 2 District) in the vicinity. The project aims to designate the area around Yeoju Station and the planned government office site as a development promotion zone to prevent unplanned development and enable planned urban development.
