The objective is to address the increasing population and urbanization in the region due to the development of industrial complexes such as Gyo-ha Industrial Complex and Publishing Complex Phase 2, as well as the attraction of the Unification Estate Condominium, which is expected to result in a shortage of sewage treatment capacity. To meet the growing domestic wastewater demand adequately, the plan is to expand the capacity of sewage treatment facilities. This expansion aims to effectively treat the increasing domestic sewage, preserve and improve the water quality in the Han River basin, and enhance the living environment and public health for the local residents.
