The 'KT Gwanghwamun Tower' is planned to be located in the historically significant Sejong-ro, adjacent to the recently renovated Gwanghwamun Plaza. This 25-story office building is designed to serve as the headquarters of KT, one of South Korea's largest telecommunications companies. The project will be carried out in two phases. Phase 1, known as the Cheongjin-dong Headquarters Project, will consist of a 25-story office building with a total above-ground floor area of 36,500 square meters and a total below-ground floor area of 17,000 square meters. Phase 2, known as the Gwanghwamun Headquarters Project, will have a total above-ground floor area of 72,800 square meters, a total below-ground floor area of 38,000 square meters, and 25 stories. Both buildings have been designed with consideration for the site context and usage. Public spaces are planned on the lower levels to connect with the outside, while office spaces, laboratories, and other workspaces are located on the upper levels to provide efficient working environments.
